Eis a questão. Shalom.
In which God do you believe?
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will — to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment —to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
Efésios 1:4-10
In which God do you believe? In a supreme being distant and powerful, without any compassion or concern for what we're going through? A God who never showed up, having just created the world and retired to his majesty, not to care more about its creation? A ruthless and vengeful God who punishes everyone, whether good or bad, often unfair and harsh, when it should not? Either you believe in a good God, righteous, faithful, wonderful, gracious and merciful? That is the question. Many people say they believe in God but do not know who is this God that they believe! Beg, God help me, but even know the character to whom are crying! God is not far from us, is that we distance ourselves from him or not we are keen to be close, because we're too busy with our daily tasks, problems and pleasures. God is not unjustor revengeful or forgot his creation, quite the opposite. He loves us so much that is revealed to us daily, through nature and our natural awareness of right and wrong. But, as this kind of revelation was not enough, he descended from his majesty in the heavens, and proved personally through Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Savior. Jesus Christ is God making man to save us from our sins! And so this wonderful God wants us to know Him and to be certain of his justice, goodness and faithfulness, which inspired a Holy Book, the Bible, for us to delve into their knowledge and follow with faith, close to Him, knowing your protection, aware that He knows what is best for us. And then? In which God do you believe? Shalom.
